Construction feels sturdy, originally thought the bed cover didn't fit well and slipped off when my kittens tried to hop on, but I saw there was a loop in the cover and fed that through the vertical post and that fixed the issue. Most importantly, my two kittens took to it VERY fast. They love it.

This was a great purchase. My cat loves to be near me at my computer, but also loves to get in the way. This gives him a spot that is undeniably "his" without him being in the way and typing mean emails to my boss accidentally when he jumps up. The construction is sturdy and I have no doubts it will continue to hold my kitten even if he becomes a bit of a chonk. That being said, this will not magically stop your cat from stepping on your keyboard, but at least the cat bed is a tempting option. Only downside is the puffy material around the edge of the cover looks like a nice comfy pillow. Image my surprise (and my cat's) when he accidentally rolled off because those sides aren't supported! I am working on designing a 3D print to make it more supported and sturdy, so hopefully that will fix the problem. I would still definitely purchase again.

Quick Installation Guide

1. Unbox and make sure all parts are included: the metal disc, plastic disc, metal support bar, and bed cover.

2. Ensure the plastic pad is seated on the top side of the metal base disc.

3. Guide the disc knob through the bottom opening of the bed cover and pull the cover securely over the disc.

4. Push the vertical pole into the knob opening—it’s a tight fit and requires force. Assemble on a stable surface.

5. Use the C-clamp to attach DeskPurrch securely to your desk.

6. Adjust the height and rotation angle, then twist the knob to lock everything in place.
